I am huge fan of stainless steel pressure cookers. Having used an aluminum made one for years, I can positively tell the great difference between these two types of cookwares. Stainless steel pressure cookers are the better option for several reasons. First of all, it has a shiny and mirror finish thereby it looks more modern and elegant. It does not dent or warp easily and is scratch resistant. Because of its high quality materials, it is more durable, reliable and long lasting. They are very versatile as they work on all types of cooking surfaces - gas, electric, induction and ceramic. You can definitely get your money's worth in the long run if you invest on this type of cookware.
Kuhn Rikon
The leading brands of stainless pressure cookers are Kuhn Rikon, Fagor and Presto. Kuhn Rikon and Fagor are originally from Europe while Presto is a US brand. Out of these three, Kuhn Rikon is the most expensive brand being made of Swiss craft and engineering. It is even tagged by New York times as the mercedes benz of pressure cookers so its durability and safety is definitely unquestionable. However, I have the note that Fagor and Presto are as great and as competitive as well. They are both well-recognized brands and cheaper than Kuhn Rikon but offer the same sleek design and multi-safety features.
